PRESS RELEASE - SHASTA LAKE, CA

The City of Shasta Lake continues to construct the Centimudi Water Tank at the intersection of Lake Boulevard and Kennett Road. Due to construction site constraints and safety of construction personnel, Lake Boulevard will be closed to all traffic (except emergency and authorized personnel) beginning Tuesday, January 20, 2026, through Friday, April 17, 2026.

Lake Boulevard will be closed to all traffic (except emergency and authorized personnel) approximately 1.0 mile north of State Route 151 (Shasta Dam Blvd.) to Kennett Road. Motorists who are going to Shasta Dam or the Centimudi Boat Ramp are advised to use State Route 151. Kennett Road and the Centimudi Boat Ramp will remain open, with access via State Route 151. Please drive carefully in the vicinity of this area and all work zones. The patience and cooperation of motorists and pedestrians in the vicinity of the work area is greatly appreciated.
